Sales, service, repair and installation of garage doors and garage doors operators, both residential and commercial
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I went to work for a company which sold windows and garage doors in 1966. Henry Howard and his son Walter Howard were employees of that company. In 1970, Walter Howard and I formed Howard Garage Doors.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We pride ourselves on being the oldest garage door company in Brevard County, family-owned and operated since 1970. Third generation garage door man David Howard, grandson of Henry Howard, carries on the family tradition. To us, doing right by our customers is the #1 priority. We have always conducted business using the Golden Rule. We are still doing business with families we serviced back in 1970, their children and grandchildren.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We serve all of Brevard County from our one location, in the same building since 1970. Stability is one of our strong points. We service other areas from the same location, and feel no need to expand and dilute our workforce.

We are located 1/2 block north of the intersection of 192 (New Haven) and Wickham Road, on the east side of Wickham, just north of the Metro West Shopping Plaza.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards, except American Express.
Which areas do you service?
All of Brevard County, Sebastian, Roseland and the east side of Osceola County

Priscilla Richardson and David Howard
What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but our phones are answered 24/7, 365 days a year. Emergency service is available at all times.
