How long have you been in business?
We incorporated in 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
Swimming pool repair and supply.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1991, I took a temporary, part-time summer job at the company I subsequently purchased (Aqua Medic Corp) 6 years later.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I return all of my phone calls. I keep my appointments, and call to let the party know if I need to cancel or am running late, as soon as I know. I respect the time, property, and privacy of others. I try to direct a customer towards the product or answer they seek, if I am unable to help them. I am a woman, and am very attentive to detail. I always leave the jobsite the way I found it (or better). I don't talk down to my customers or try to confuse them with technical jargon (unless they want to know). I provide good, old-fashioned customer service; and I sincerely appreciate the patronage of my customers. And I have a conscience, and am a poor sales person - I will never try to sell someone something they don't want or need!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We no longer have a retail store, but do deliver. We have no current plans to expand.

MasterCard, Visa, Discover, checks, and cash.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I do! I'm an owner-operator. My name is Loni.
What are your hours of operation?
As we no longer have a store, we don't have "standard" hours of operation. Work is normally scheduled for Monday through Friday. Phones are answered when I am available, and not on a jobsite - sometimes as early as 7AM, or as late as 9PM. I return all of my phone calls.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The ones I always get: I trust you, you're honest, you obviously know what ououre doing, I don't want anyone else touching my pool, etc. And someone valuing my time and advice (paid or free), just by saying thank you.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
As it relates here? "I'm gonna fill the **** thing in!" (Which by the way, you just can't do unless you're filling it all with concrete; or have holes punched through it ($$$) to provide for proper drainage. EPA regulations...)
